List of Personality Characteristics

I have decided to put together a list of personality characteristics as I think it is very important for you to read and also to see what changes you may wish to make in your life in order to be living a more free and joyous life.

To start with my list of personality characteristics I need to explain to you how the personality is formed. Well this goes back to the minute you were born in my opinion. You open your eyes and are looking at this strange world around you, so new but yet so familiar, especially if you have been here before.

I say that because I personally believe in past lives and regression hypnosis as I can see in young kids that they have been here before, I mean how many people do you hear that comment from they have been here before...

Now the other thing is this when a child is in the womb they are very much aware of their mother's feelings etc. We really are sensitive wee souls you see and it is amazing as adults we sometimes forget things we did when we were younger.

Now this next section is a list of personality characteristics that I have been taught in my training as an Analytical Hypnotherapsit, and it is also a lot to do with what I have observing these last 30 odd years when I started seeing people in ways that others didn't.

This will give you examples of the List of personality characteristics and their traits...I have also got a link at the bottom of the page about personality colours and the Max Luscher colour personality test...

Okay now lets get into the nitty gritty...Right let's look at this scenario you are born and you see your mum, this wonderful woman who has given birth to you, and you need to get food, so your mum will either feed you by bottle or breast, with milk. This wonderful nourishing, loving, caring food. Your security, your needs taken care of for survival.

So you are getting quite used to this loving feeling, you are safe, secure, loved and nourished and then one day your mum decides you need to go onto solid food.

Oh dear you were not ready for this blow, how dare my loving mum take my security blanket away from me, I wasn't ready to give this up. These will possibly be what you are feeling, although consciously you can't remember this.

You see at this age you have't learned to speak, all you can do is cry, laugh etc. You are stuck and inside a rage is developing, a storm of emotion and frustration. So with this inner anger comes problems later in life. This will be the first on the List of Personality Characteristics...as this is how it was formed.

Miss/Mr Sensitive:

Here is the List of Personality Characteristics for this type... This type of personality will be as described above, sensitive wee souls, who go about day to day minding their own business, never wanting to hurt anyone, never really tell people what they think of them as they will not want to offend them.

That is the last thing they will do as they know how it feels and with this wonderful quality is a downside, Miss/Mr Sensitive is a target to being bullied by others, as they are looked upon being a "easy target" as the phrase says "have I got mug written over my forehead".

To add to the list of personality characteristics of Miss/Mr Sensitive is a schitzoidal personality, being happy one day and really down another day, up's and down's as they say. Also they have a tendancy to check things before going out of the house so say for example, did you switch of the cooker, lights, where are your car/door keys.

What I have also noticed with some women is they have wee habits of pulling their blouse/jumpers over their bottom, or sorting their cardigans making sure it is neat, just doing little habit things like that in a nice innocent way.

These type of people will ususally be in the caring professions but not always, and unfortunately a lot really do suffer from depression. They can usually get involved in a relationship with a partner who bullies them.

Another thing also is they are prone to biting their nails, or when younger sucking their thumb, putting things in their mouth like chewing their pens, this is to replace the nipple you see. Oh and they tend to be quite and soft spoken although not always.

The next on my list of personality characteristics is as I am going to call them:

Miss/Mr Control Freak:

I mean this in the best possible way. I am just illustrating to you how thing happen. Okay so at the beginning you are born and like Miss/Mr Sensitive.

Your mother fed you and this was good but this is where a slight difference comes, your mum took you of the milk at the right time, when you were to get solid food.

However what happened to you was this, you were learing how to do a poo, the old toilet thing, potty training, I know this sound weird but it makes sense when you read the rest.

Okay so to add to the list of personality characteristics for Miss/Mr control freak is just that control. You see you knew how to do a poo in the potty or toilet but not when you were asked to.

Your mum was trying to get you to do it but you decided to hold onto it and do it in your own time, which gave you control over your mum.

This is not a bad thing by the way it is just how things work out to be sometimes, we are all spirits having a human experience.

Okay so now with control comes a bit of power over others, perhaps a bit of bullying others, a workaholic, a very tidy and organised person in a routine, everything has a place and nothing out of place. I suppose in a way you could look at the type of person as having an addictive personality.

A downside is paranoia, and a bit of a hypochondriac, and unusual rituals like perhaps turning your tee shirt inside and out before putting it one.

A paranoia about cleanliness, a bit OCD. This personality type can manifest illness with thought, thinking they have all sorts of things wrong with them. A medical dictionary is not a good thing for these people.

And before you know it it becomes very real to them and in some cases develops into a physical condition. My Dad was this type of personality although he did have a bit of Mr Sensitive to. You see we can have a prodominant side and sight traits of the others.

These type of people tend to be managers for big companies and organisations, are not very tactful and can cause a lot of upset, as in they start something then walk away and let all the other people argue amongst themselves...

Miss/Mr Drama Queen/King:

Okay the personality characteristics of this type were okay with the food and poo scenario, not a problem. Now came the part of discovering their private parts, I am using boys here as an example and I am not sexist by this but it's a good illustration.

So little boys they found something they could touch and play with, despite their mum's annoyance, showing her up in public, in the supermarket or anywhere for that matter in the public's eyes. So by doing this they are getting an audiance which makes them the center of attention.

Okay so to add to their list of personality characteristics is the following, these people are show off's, they are very good at appearing to be your best friend, saying what they think you want to hear.

The males have a velevt tongue and are well groomed as are the females, and both are quite flirtacious. They are very competitive and always need you to know what they own.

Possessions are very important to these people. And this is a big one if you have been somewhere, they have not only been there to...they have been around the world so much...everthing is exaggerated.

Now a not so pleasant side of their personality characteristics is the manipulation and back stabbing behaviour they do, also never taking responsibility, it is always someone else to blame.

Life can be one big drama, keeping up appearances like ("Hyacinth Bucket pronounced 'Bouquet' on the TV programme). One important thing to they lie, most of the sentence is a lie with just a small bit of truth...it will be so exagerated to to make it sound unbelievable...A wolf in sheeps clothing...

Another trait to add on to this list of personality characteristics is the following, you see this type of personality is also prone to the mind creating illnesses like mr control Freak but is a bit different as in they to can manifest a physical symptom by thought, however when it does they will dismiss it. In denial. The connection between Body n mind.

I wonder if your birth sign has anything to do with this, I have a capricorn personality which is practical, with a down to earth approach and I definately would say I have this.

This is an area I am unsure about so would need to do more research if I could include the zodiac personalities into the list of personality characteristics. I think I will really investigate this one and add it on later as I think their is a conncetion somehow.

So aren't we fascinating creatures us human beings. I will finish there for the moment with my list of personalitiy characteristics.

Something that is also amazing is colours and how it affects your personality characteristics and what it says about your emotions and things you want to do and things you are repressing and suppressing etc.

Someone the other day asked me if there were 4 personality colours but there is 8 that I know of as you will see below.
