Depression In Children

Depression in children is increasing and becoming a real worry for parents. A child should be ideally happy go lucky, have freedom to go out and play with their friends like I did when I was their age and love.

I feel something has went seriously wrong when. All the above has been taken away it would seem and the result is "child depression". This situation needs to be addressed as a child's development is so important and will have an impact on their adult life. A lot of adults who come for Analytical Therapy find the root cause can be from their childhood .

Depression being the major factor. I mean it all stems from all the memories, feelings and emotions from the years gone by and the trials and tribulations along the way also. You see my opinion is this : I see us human beings as huge organic computers with a huge capacity of disk space for files to be stored in. Like is said above memories, feelings etc.

Idealy it would be great to have brilliant memories every second of the day especially when you are a child. And as you get older the memories keep staying good.

However we are not in that sort of world anymore and freedom seems to have been taken away. The result is depression in children. It really is sad. I am lucky that I grew up in the era I did. School was good, we respected our elders, technology was changing and the music of the 80's was good, I remember it well. As a typical teenager with posters on my walls etc, reading the Jackie.

We must do something as a society though and stop childhood depression. It is not acceptable. So if you see the signs of child depression nip it in the bud. Seek appropiate help. A lot of children do well with hypnosis and there are a lot of excellent practitioners out there who specialsie in this field. It is advisable as a parent you accompany your child and sit in on the session as you will learn a lot of what your child has to say. A good hypnotherapsit will have you both at ease. And the sessions are really worthwhile at addressing the depression and resloving it.

So help stop the virus of depression in children, make them feel good, know they can achieve anything, be someone one day and lots of love and cuddles. Doing more activities perhaps which doesn't cost much money like walking in the countryside, going to the beach, having a picnic.

That seems to be missing a bit to as there is a lot you don't seem to be able to do. Life in the fast lane isn't always good. I think it is so important that children can talk to their parents about anything and I mean anything. I unfortunately could'nt with my mum especially with her illness, but I did have my Granny which was great.
